Hardy was a 1993 graduate of Alexandria Senior High and a 1998 graduate of Louisiana Tech University He loved to cheer on the Bulldogs! Hardy spent most of his working career as an accountant in the oil and gas industry.

Hardy was an avid sports fan whose favorite team was the Atlanta Braves. During his childhood, his family watched nearly every Braves game on TBS. In his early years, Hardy enjoyed playing sports. From basketball to baseball to beach volleyball, he loved competing with friends. He also dominated in the fantasy football leagues he enjoyed competing in year after year. Some of his favorite memories included his annual baseball trip with friends from high school and church to Dallas and Houston.

Hardy was incredibly funny and added much life to whatever group he was with. He was a good friend to many and memories of him are sweet. He brought laughter and fun to all who knew him.

Having professed faith in Christ and baptized during his early years, Hardy had a faith that was real and sincere. The apostle Paul says in 2 Corinthians 5:8, “To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.” We take great comfort in knowing that although Hardy is no longer with us, he is whole and healthy in the presence of our Lord.
